Mabuhay! My name is Rochelle! The curious mind behind the creative brand, Design By Rochelle.

I'm a proud Filipino-American, wife, mom, small business owner, and self-taught web designer based in Philadelphia.

My design story didn't begin with a degree in graphic design or years inside a fancy agency. It started with curiosity. I taught myself how to build websites, started creating for family and friends, and eventually turned that little “side gig” into Design By Rochelle.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of designing websites for small businesses in different industries—from insurance and home services to restaurants and local businesses. Along the way, I learned that a good website isn't just about making something pretty. It should help a business look professional, build credibility, and give customers a place to confidently learn, connect, and take the next step.

Today, I bring that same experience to every project while keeping the process simple, personal, and practical. No big agency. No complicated process. Just one business owner helping another business owner create an online home they're proud to share.

And yes—I'm still the same creative night owl who can get completely lost designing something until I realize it's way past bedtime. 😂

What started as curiosity became a passion, and that passion became a business I'm incredibly grateful to have built.

Some of the most rewarding projects are the ones that simply help someone doing good.

Whenever I can, I love using my design skills to support a nonprofit, community organization, or small local cause that may not have the budget for a professional website.

If you know an organization doing meaningful work that could use a little help with its online presence, I'd love to hear about them. When time and availability allow, I may choose a project to support through complimentary or reduced-cost design services.
